Starting School Should Feel Exciting
Beginning school is a significant milestone in every child’s life. Yet many children enter Kindergarten without the foundational literacy, numeracy, and independence skills needed to feel confident and secure.
Confident Start Academy was created to bridge that gap.
Through structured, small-group learning led by a qualified primary educator, we intentionally build the skills, routines, and confidence children need to thrive from their very first day of school.

Every program is designed and delivered by a primary-trained educator with a deep understanding of curriculum, early literacy development, and school readiness expectations.
Small Intentional Groups
With a maximum of six children per session, each child receives personalised support within a calm, structured learning environment.
Measurable Groups
Each child begins with a baseline assessment and receives a written progress report at the conclusion of the program — providing clarity, reassurance, and tangible outcomes for families.

8 Week Foundations Program.
The Mini Minds Program introduces young learners to the foundational skills needed for future school success. Through play-based, teacher-guided activities, children begin developing early literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, and confidence in a small group environment.
Sessions are designed to be engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate.

The Confident Start Program prepares children for a successful transition into school by developing essential early academic and social skills in a supportive small-group learning environment.

The Early Achievers Program is designed for children preparing to enter school or those who would benefit from strengthening early literacy, numeracy, and independent learning skills.
This program builds confidence with early reading, writing, number concepts, and problem-solving while helping children develop the independence needed for a classroom environment.
Children participate in structured, teacher-led activities in small intentional groups, ensuring every child receives focused support.

Confident Start Academy was founded by a qualified primary educator passionate about ensuring children feel capable, prepared, and confident as they enter formal schooling.
With classroom teaching experience and specialised knowledge in early literacy and foundational mathematics, our programs are thoughtfully designed to provide both academic strength and emotional readiness.
Our approach is calm, structured, and developmentally informed — because true confidence is built through intentional foundations.
